$ 24.00I love the lavender-ey pink color of this pretty party dress. Its circa 1950s or early 60s. Would have had a little bolero jacket or top over the bodice and the hooks for that are still there. Its too small for my dress form by a bit so it's pinned in back but the zipper works great. This is an opaque layer of acetate or rayon with a sheer chiffon that feels like a poly maybe over the top. Full skirt but not a full circle, would be great with a crinoline, which I have not shown it with here. Sleeveless, wide waistband with a pellon lining to help it hold its shape. Zipper in the back. No label. Please see condition below as it has some issues. Small size, I'd say. Or extra small.
$ 35.00Very special black lace illusion dress over a dark mauvey pink under layer of, I believe, faille. Tooo small for my dress forms so I've pinned her here. Flirty cap sleeves, full skirt though not a full circle, and the most gorgeous black velvet bow under the bust. Metal zipper up the back. Label reads: Original Lilli Diamond of California Also good for a costume or as a pattern or study. Extra small. Please read condition below.
$ 49.00Just stunning New Old Stock dress with originals labels and tags, circa late 50s or early 60s. Rayon velvet bodice with tank style straps. Skirt is silk organza. Medium size I'd say. Label says: Renoir Originals, For Talls. Please see condition below.
$ 15.00Fancy gold damask shirtwaist style dress circa 1950s. Five covered buttons up the front and a metal zipper. Pretty tie bow at the neck. Long sleeves with three buttons at the cuffs. The fabric feels like it could have some silk in it but I don't think it's 100% silk. Bodice is lined. No label, probably in the medium size range.
$ 28.00Fantastic vintage 50 wiggle dress in black crepe. Short sleeves, metal zipper in back, and a cute rolled waist with two little bows in front. No Label. This dress is still very cute but does have issues, thus being in my scratch and dent section. Please see below.
$ 25.00Fantastic vintage 50 wiggle dress in silk satin damask with silver embroidery and gold velvet soutache. This is a true wiggle as there is no split in the skirt. Sleeveless tank style with a low v back. Fully lined in silk. She's too small for my dress forms so I've pinned her on. There is no specific designer label but it does have a label that says it was "Made In British Crown Colony of Hong Kong" This dress is still wearable but does have issues, thus being in my scratch and dent section. Please see below.
$ 15.00Cute lace pencil skirt circa 1950s. Ice blue acetate lining with white lace over it. Super pretty scalloped edge at the bottom hem. Metal zipper down the back with one hook and eye at top. It is too small for my dress form so I just pinned it in back as you can see in the photos. There is no label. Fully lined. Extra small size, I'd say.
$ 219.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. Makes me think of a Black Swan. The most amazing bodice with a black velvet modesty panel across the bust and then black lace and velvet straps over the shoulders. The velvet carries all down the back to a bow at the waist and extra long ends hanging down the skirt. Just gorgeous! Almost a full circle skirt. Has metal zipper on the side. No label. A lovely larger size, and great for a taller girl too! Yay! It's just a hair too big for me or I'd have kept this one for sure.
$ 149.00Beautiful black rayon dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. Full circle skirt. Slightly blouse-y bodice with a neckline that's sewn in such a way as to make it look somewhat twisted. The shoulder straps tie so its nice and adjustable as far as length there goes. Has metal zipper on the side. No label. Probably a small to medium.
$ 219.00This is a magnificent full length opera coat from about the 1940s or 50s in black silk velvet. Incredible shaped collar! Slightly puffed shoulders, though no shoulder pads. Simple clean lines with no front closure. Fully lined in black satin. Label reads: Bergdorf Goodman Fifth Avenue at 58th Street. Small to smaller medium I'd say.
$ 219.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. I wish wish, wish I had a dress form small enough for this so you could get the real feel for it, but it's too small so I've had to pin it. Hopefully that will be enough. Its utterly divine. The most amazing bullet shape bodice just full of gorgeous beading all round the bust front and back and then soft black tulle over the shoulders. Fantastic gather at the hip on one side and then this fall of liquid black silk satin skirt which has a small rounded cornered slit on one side. Has metal zipper on the side, but curiously on the right, not the left as usual, and yes, I've made sure which side is front and back. No label, probably homemade though very, very well by an excellent seamstress, but that may explain the zipper.
$ 199.00This is exquisite! Delicious black wool Mexican full skirt circa late 40s or 50s. Looks like a full circle from that hip seam down. Look at that multi color floral embroidery in Day of the Dead colors! I've shown it with an added crinoline that's not included to really display that embroidery, but its equally gorgeous without it. Unlined, and I believe this is felted wool. Hook and eyes at the side waist and a metal zipper. No label. Small size. Gosh I wish it fit me!
$ 20.00Darling small prints in black metal frames of early Horseless Carriages. Perfect for a car lover or collector! There is a purple velvet backing and a circular metal hanger. They measure 4.25" x 3.25". The listing is for the pair. Please convo me if you're interested in that.
$ 219.00 - Sold OutOne of the most stunning dresses I've ever had in any of my various shops. Beautiful silvery grey lace over blush acetate lining. From the later 1940s, or early 1950s. Full circle skirt. There is a layer of grey tulle between the lace and the lining. Cross the heart bodice, short illusion sleeves, and illusion shoulders and upper back. Metal Zipper on the side. Thread loops for a belt, but no belt. No label. About a large medium, I'd say.
$ 30.00Lovely deep olive green satin cocktail hat circa late 40s or 50s. Trimmed all over with velvet flower buds and leaves in varying shades of green and gold threads. Lined with lace and velvet cording.
$ 40.00Pretty pale pink 1940s or 50s full slip in taffeta. Quite a full skirt. Snaps on the side, straps are not adjustable. Would make a sweet nightgown as well as a slip or slip dress. No label. I'd say its about a large-ish medium
$ 46.00This is such a cute dress. Pink with white trim at sleeve cuffs and neckline and at the top of the hip pockets. Cute little white stitching is a nice touch too. This is from the later 40s or early 50s. Has a side metal zipper, and a snap at the front of the bodice where a modesty panel was added to give it a semi sailor look. Its linen, I believe, but doesn't wrinkle that much so probably a blend with something else. Label reads: None. A larger size too!
$ 129.00This stunner is a 1940s or 50s prom or party dress that looks like it could have been ( but wasn't) a ballerina's dress for Swan Lake. It was certainly inspired by it! Bodice is boned, and is strapless, and is covered in loosely gathered white tulle. Then those "wings" across the bust! To die. Beautifully studded with rhinestones or diamantes. Metal zipper on the side. I've shown this with a crinoline that's a bit short for it as I don't have a full length one, but imagine it with a full length! So lovely. Dress is white acetate with two layers of white tulle over it. Label reads: None. Small size, I'd say.
$ 75.00Beautiful vintage black ribbon dress circa late 1940s or early 1950s. Wiggle style with criss cross bands of narrow ribbon. Beautifully detailed neckline. Cap sleeves. darts at the bust and a few pleats at the waist. Small shoulder pads. Feels like a silk blend or rayon to me. Has a side metal zipper. Medium to smaller large size, I'd say. Unlined. No label.
$ 79.00Deep espresso brown lightly boucled two piece suit circa the 1940s, maybe 50s. The jacket is really the star here. It has these fantastic buttons! The sleeves are not quite full length, but a bit longer than 3/4. The bottom hem in front has a slits at either hip. Shoulder pads. Its kind of a shorter, more boxy shape, that makes me think 60s, but the woman I got it from said her mother wore it well before then and there are definitely things about it that make me think she's right. The skirt is A line, has several darts at the waist for a nice shape, and a metal zipper at the side. Both jacket and skirt are lined in what feels like rayon. The body is probably wool. Medium size, I'd say. There are two labels. The designer ones read "Friedmont" and are in both jacket and skirt. Then there is an additional one for the store it was sold at, reads: "Housemans, Grand Rapids".
$ 28.00Large Sir Walter Raleigh tobacco tin circa 1940s. Red and black with the face of Himself featuring on the front. The lid lifts off and can be pushed down to seal. $ 18.00Darling toddler girl's dress. Empire waist style with the sweetest Peter Pan collar trimmed in lace and red and blue cross stitch. There is primary color smocking across the front. This dress buttons at the back of the neck with three little buttons. Label reads: None. Please see measurements given below.
$ 98.00Wonderful black and white houndstooth and plaid tweed suit from the 1960s. Label reads: Made in England Expressly for Willi. Jacket is lined in silk, skirt is unlined. This is a really extraordinary quality suit.

Three varying length strands of sparkling reflective crystal beads on rhinestone studded ends with a hook clasp for an adjustable length Has a total length of 14" long for the shortest strand from rhinestone end to rhinestone end. $ 22.00Darling vintage girl's cardigan from about the 50s. Pretty soft blush pink knit. Unlined. Feels like a wool bend maybe. No label. Probably homemade. No closure.
$ 65.00 - Sold OutStunning vintage cardigan from the 50s. Light Ivory or cream with golden-ey colored beads and sequins, and tons of white microbeads. Unlined. Orlon. Its very soft. Beautiful Pearlized buttons up the front. Label reads: by Select Sportswear, Mazet yarn by Milliken, 100% Orlon. I'd say its a small to medium.
$ 59.00Stunning vintage cardigan from the 50s. Light Ivory or cream with pastel colored beads. Bodice is lined, sleeves unlined. Mix of lambswool, angora and nylon. Its very soft. Beautiful Pearlized buttons up the front. Label is awesome, really funny actually, it reads: Made Expressly for The May Co in British Hong Kong, goes on to list the contents, then says Made in Japan. So obviously someone needed to spend some time learning geography, or paying more attention to what they were putting on their labels. I'd say its a medium.
$ 50.00Wonderful black bathing suit from the 50s. This is the top of what would have been a two piece. The bottoms are missing alas, but because of the length of this, one could adjust about any black bottoms and be fine, or a contrasting color for a peek a boo effect! Has adjustable shoulder straps with buttons that can be placed at any of three holes. Elasticize smocking at the sides. Its hard to see in the photos but do you see where the two center seams come together with the cute bows over it? Right there is a white center panel giving this a tuxedo look. The two black seams are not sewn together so one can see the white panel when one moves around. No labels, feels like a nylon parachute type material. Extra large size.
$ 28.00Gorgeous black beaded clutch from the 1950s. Black silk covered in black microbeads and sequins. The clasp is gold tone. There is a small interior pocket apart from the large one of course. And then on the outside is another small zipper compartment. There is a short gold tone chain. Its just a gorgeous bag. There is a label that says it was Handmade in Hong Kong

$ 75.00Beautiful vintage black lace dress circa 1950s. Wiggle style with pretty opening at the neckline and a dramatic V back. Has a side metal zipper. Fully lined in what feels like a black rayon faille. Small size, I'd say. No label.
$ 89.00Delicious black quilted full skirt circa late 40s or early 50s. Look at that darling novelty print in all the primary colors of country icons such as little flowers, chickens, people and bells. Fully lined with what feels to me like an ivory muslin. Gives its a lot of shape, weight and texture on its own, but I've shown it with an added crinoline that's not included. Tons of hem if you want to let it down. Buttons at the waist and a metal zipper. Waistband is lined in black satin. No label. Small to medium size, I'd say.
$ 169.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the 1950s. The silkiest, liquid silk satin. Like a raven's wing. In the right light there's a hint of a blue sheen even, its that black. Fitted bodice with a slightly dropped waist. Princess seams, full skirt though not quite a full circle and you can see my very full crinoline is a bit too much for it, sleeveless and the shoulders are meant to be worn wide. Metal zipper up the back. I'd say small to medium sized. No label but made very well. Whomever made this even put a bit of blue grosgrain ribbon inside the waist horizontally which, I believe, is meant to keep the seams from pulling as its quite form fitted. Smart! Its not all the way round though, there are some long ends hanging inside so I think someone else unstitched part of it off at some point. You'll see it. Doesn't affect the exterior at all.
$ 20.00 - Sold OutSoft rich black suede belt from about the 1950s. Its one and a half inches wide, and features a round buckle in front that is studded with rhinestones or diamantes. Its a little under 40" from very end to the center of the buckle. Stamp inside reads: Marilyn of Dallas.

$ 25.00Charming black velvet topper cocktail hat from the 1950s. Interesting sloping shape towards one side, perfect for those sideswept styles of the 40s and 50s. There is no designer label but there is a size label that says Medium. The inside is lined in acetate with a grosgrain ribbon round the inside. The front, I guess you'd call it a brim or bill, is embellished with small black beads that look like jet to me. It ahs a slightly squashy shape which I personally like, but I believe it could be steamed to be more smooth through the crown as well if you prefer. Will ship flat.
$ 59.00Delicious black velvet full skirt circa late 40s or 50s. Rich dark cotton velvet ( so soft!), gathered at the waist. Trimmed with thick black cotton twill tape at the hem. The skirt is very full but not a full circle. Hook and eye closure and completely hidden metal zipper. I've shown the zipper at the back but I suspect its actually supposed to go at the side. Doesn't really affect how it looks either way so do what you're most comfortable with I say. No label. Small size.
$ 40.00Perfect little black cotton velvet top from the 50s, possibly later 40s. The neckline is daring with scallops and studded with rhinestones. Princess seams in front. $ 28.00Classy turban from the 1950s. Semi slouchy style with a satin crown and velvet round the diameter. No designer label but there is a Union Made label. The inside is lined in faille and there is a grosgrain ribbon round the inside. Measures 22" round the inside. Will ship flat as there is a wire round the inside that will reshape.
$ 4.00Cute little nylon PJ top circa 1950s. Pale ice blue with oodles of flounces and cute looped spaghetti straps. Would make an absolutely darling Summer top. Easy fitting and comfortable. The light in the photos give the impression that some of the color is faded but I assure you that is just the way the sun was hitting this. The color is consistent. About a medium to large, meant to be easy fitting. Label reads" Mary Barron, Made in the USA.
$ 58.00Gorgeous little vintage sweater from about the 1950s. Sweet palest french blue grey color with a ittle bit of pointellle in the arm seams. Pearlized buttons up the front. Long sleeved cardigan style. Medium size, I'd say. Label reads: Full Fashioned Bermuda, 100% Super Serma-spun Orlon. ts a great lable actually. Very cute. :)
$ 64.00Interesting and lovely milk chocolate brown illusion lace dress. I'm dating this as 50s, but it may be 40s. I believe this was meant to be an overdress on top of another layer, due to the placement of the closure. It has one hook and eye which are positioned in such a way as to leave it open in front. However, if one were to add another hook to the inside and an eye to the waist on the outside, it would make a PERFECT wrap dress. I've tried it on myself and it works beautifully. I will leave that decision up to you. This is lined in an ivory acetate. Dolman style cap ( barely) sleeve, and a full skirt ( it would work great with a crinoline, I just didn't show it here with one). No label. I'd say, depending on if you want to wear it open as shown over an under layer, or as a wrap it would fit anything from a medium to an extra large.
$ 48.00 - Sold OutSuper fun genuine vintage Cancan or dancehall girl dress in bright orange acetate with black trim. This is circa 1950s. The bodice has just a hint of a bullet shape, and is form fitting with black lace on the shoulder straps, black sequins along the front neckline and a flirty black bow in the center. The skirt is a full circle, gathered up on one side with another of those flirty wee bows. That pulled up side slit is edged with stiff black tulle that goes all the way round the underside of the skirt hem. ( You can see the shadow of the black tulle if you look at the hem in the last photo and then of course along the side). I'd say in the medium size range. No label. Metal zipper up the back.
$ 39.00 - Sold OutCute vintage cardigan from the 50s, maybe 60s. Winter white with ivory pearlized buttons, and appliques of larger green roses on the front. This is the softest, snuggliest coziest sweater, some sort of early fleecey feeling fabric. I just want to curl up next to it whenever I handle it! About a larger medium. Label reads: Pegie By The Sea Originals, Ft Lauderdale, Handwash only.
$ 39.00 - Sold OutCute vintage cardigan from the 50s, maybe 40s. Oatmeal color with pearlized buttons, cable knit. About a medium, I'd say. Label reads: A Smartwear Fashion. Feels like wool or a wool blend. Very cute and cozy.
