Vintage 1960s Black Velvet Quilted Opera Coat, Short Evening Cocktail Jacket

Fantastic short opera coat from the 1960s in lush black velvet. Raised nehru style collar with a simple hook and eye closure at the neck. No other closures. Slight swing shape. Fully lined in quilted ivory satin. No label. Medium to large size I'd say.

Excellent near mint vintage condition. There is one repair I spotted along a sleeve seam but it blends completely into the nap of the coat.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip
this is an open front so theres some play to these measurements.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 44"
Waist: 48"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 22"
