Vintage 1940s Tobacco 14 Oz Large Tin With Lid, Sir Walter Raleigh

Large Sir Walter Raleigh tobacco tin circa 1940s. Red and black with the face of Himself featuring on the front. The lid lifts off and can be pushed down to seal. On the bottom of the tin are some old stickers that show the "tobacco tax" was paid. This little piece of history and story is SO CHARMING!!!! This is a larger size, 14 oz container, and perfect for any collection. Measures about 5" tall and 5" in diameter.

Excellent vintage condition. There is some minor scratching and dings to the exterior and interior but nothing major at all. The lid is patined and quite dark, but I can see the glint of silver underneath so it might be polishable.
