$ 35.0050s black lace bed jacket, lined in the softest blush pink nylon. It has the sweetest little black satin rosette detail at the bust, and a flirty frill of lace ruffle all around the bottom hem. Would actually be great as a top over a tank or sleek top. Snaps shut, v back and front. Larger size! Had a label but its been cut out, sadly.
$ 129.00Fantastic vintage 50s New Look party dress in red with black lace bodice and hem. Utterly gorgeous! Full skirt, mid length, spaghetti straps that tie together on the shoulder, metal zipper down the back. This is the PRETTIEST dress and perfect for just about any event. Small to extra small size range. This dress HAD a label, but someone at some point in time cut it out, so your guess is as good as mine as to who designed it. They had talent though!
$ 18.00Fitted cropped top from the 50s, just dripping sequins in a fantastic S line pattern with interchanging soutache ribbon in between. Sleeveless, scoop neck. Completely covered in sequins. Fully lined in acetate or rayon. Remarkably light weight and flexible. Metal Zipper up the back.
$ 24.00I love the lavender-ey pink color of this pretty party dress. Its circa 1950s or early 60s. Would have had a little bolero jacket or top over the bodice and the hooks for that are still there. Its too small for my dress form by a bit so it's pinned in back but the zipper works great. This is an opaque layer of acetate or rayon with a sheer chiffon that feels like a poly maybe over the top. Full skirt but not a full circle, would be great with a crinoline, which I have not shown it with here. Sleeveless, wide waistband with a pellon lining to help it hold its shape. Zipper in the back. No label. Please see condition below as it has some issues. Small size, I'd say. Or extra small.
$ 35.00Very special black lace illusion dress over a dark mauvey pink under layer of, I believe, faille. Tooo small for my dress forms so I've pinned her here. Flirty cap sleeves, full skirt though not a full circle, and the most gorgeous black velvet bow under the bust. Metal zipper up the back. Label reads: Original Lilli Diamond of California Also good for a costume or as a pattern or study. Extra small. Please read condition below.
$ 49.00Just stunning New Old Stock dress with originals labels and tags, circa late 50s or early 60s. Rayon velvet bodice with tank style straps. Skirt is silk organza. Medium size I'd say. Label says: Renoir Originals, For Talls. Please see condition below.
$ 210.00If you know vintage designers you'll know why this dress is priced as it is regardless of its issues. This is a Ceil Chapman, designer to Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Deborah Kerr among many many others. This is from the 1950s. Beautiful goldish satin taffeta base covered in ivory tulle and utterly dripping in faux pearl beads and sequins with rhinestone centers. Its stunning. There's just no other word for it. There is a layer of tulle along the inside bottom hem, about the last ten inches, to give the hem some shape and movement. There is a metal zipper on the side. Two labels. One reads Ceil Chapman of course. That's on the side. The one behind the neck reads Hollywood, Wilkes Barre, PA. Please read condition below as this ha some issues.
$ 15.00Fancy gold damask shirtwaist style dress circa 1950s. Five covered buttons up the front and a metal zipper. Pretty tie bow at the neck. Long sleeves with three buttons at the cuffs. The fabric feels like it could have some silk in it but I don't think it's 100% silk. Bodice is lined. No label, probably in the medium size range.
$ 28.00Fantastic vintage 50 wiggle dress in black crepe. Short sleeves, metal zipper in back, and a cute rolled waist with two little bows in front. No Label. This dress is still very cute but does have issues, thus being in my scratch and dent section. Please see below.
$ 25.00Fantastic vintage 50 wiggle dress in silk satin damask with silver embroidery and gold velvet soutache. This is a true wiggle as there is no split in the skirt. Sleeveless tank style with a low v back. Fully lined in silk. She's too small for my dress forms so I've pinned her on. There is no specific designer label but it does have a label that says it was "Made In British Crown Colony of Hong Kong" This dress is still wearable but does have issues, thus being in my scratch and dent section. Please see below.
$ 15.00Cute lace pencil skirt circa 1950s. Ice blue acetate lining with white lace over it. Super pretty scalloped edge at the bottom hem. Metal zipper down the back with one hook and eye at top. It is too small for my dress form so I just pinned it in back as you can see in the photos. There is no label. Fully lined. Extra small size, I'd say.
$ 219.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. Makes me think of a Black Swan. The most amazing bodice with a black velvet modesty panel across the bust and then black lace and velvet straps over the shoulders. The velvet carries all down the back to a bow at the waist and extra long ends hanging down the skirt. Just gorgeous! Almost a full circle skirt. Has metal zipper on the side. No label. A lovely larger size, and great for a taller girl too! Yay! It's just a hair too big for me or I'd have kept this one for sure.
$ 149.00 - Sold OutBeautiful black rayon dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. Full circle skirt. Slightly blouse-y bodice with a neckline that's sewn in such a way as to make it look somewhat twisted. The shoulder straps tie so its nice and adjustable as far as length there goes. Has metal zipper on the side. No label. Probably a small to medium.
$ 219.00This is a magnificent full length opera coat from about the 1940s or 50s in black silk velvet. Incredible shaped collar! Slightly puffed shoulders, though no shoulder pads. Simple clean lines with no front closure. Fully lined in black satin. Label reads: Bergdorf Goodman Fifth Avenue at 58th Street. Small to smaller medium I'd say.
$ 219.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. I wish wish, wish I had a dress form small enough for this so you could get the real feel for it, but it's too small so I've had to pin it. Hopefully that will be enough. Its utterly divine. The most amazing bullet shape bodice just full of gorgeous beading all round the bust front and back and then soft black tulle over the shoulders. Fantastic gather at the hip on one side and then this fall of liquid black silk satin skirt which has a small rounded cornered slit on one side. Has metal zipper on the side, but curiously on the right, not the left as usual, and yes, I've made sure which side is front and back. No label, probably homemade though very, very well by an excellent seamstress, but that may explain the zipper.
$ 199.00This is exquisite! Delicious black wool Mexican full skirt circa late 40s or 50s. Looks like a full circle from that hip seam down. Look at that multi color floral embroidery in Day of the Dead colors! I've shown it with an added crinoline that's not included to really display that embroidery, but its equally gorgeous without it. Unlined, and I believe this is felted wool. Hook and eyes at the side waist and a metal zipper. No label. Small size. Gosh I wish it fit me!
$ 26.00Darling ivory fascinator veil, circa 1940s or 50s with a birdcage veil and crochet lace flowers round a stiff mesh crown base. No label. Hat seems to be one size fits all, or at least most. Really pretty little thing and perfect for a vintage wedding.
$ 20.00Darling small prints in black metal frames of early Horseless Carriages. Perfect for a car lover or collector! There is a purple velvet backing and a circular metal hanger. They measure 4.25" x 3.25". The listing is for the pair. Please convo me if you're interested in that.
$ 56.00Darling girls party dress circa late 40 or early 50s. Ivory organza or organdy overdress with wide pintucking pleats and a Peter Pan collar, Goes over a separate acetate slip dress with a built in semi stiff woven crinoline. Fit and flare shape. I love the ricrac trim round the bottom hem. Dress has buttons up the back, slip has a metal side zipper. The dress itself is sheer. The slip is cute enough on its own to be a dress by itself nowdays. There is no label. There was, but its been cut away, so all that remains is a lot number label on the slip. About preteen size, but do check the measurements below.
$ 30.00Lovely deep olive green satin cocktail hat circa late 40s or 50s. Trimmed all over with velvet flower buds and leaves in varying shades of green and gold threads. Lined with lace and velvet cording.
$ 40.00Pretty pale pink 1940s or 50s full slip in taffeta. Quite a full skirt. Snaps on the side, straps are not adjustable. Would make a sweet nightgown as well as a slip or slip dress. No label. I'd say its about a large-ish medium
$ 46.00 - Sold OutThis is such a cute dress. Pink with white trim at sleeve cuffs and neckline and at the top of the hip pockets. Cute little white stitching is a nice touch too. This is from the later 40s or early 50s. Has a side metal zipper, and a snap at the front of the bodice where a modesty panel was added to give it a semi sailor look. Its linen, I believe, but doesn't wrinkle that much so probably a blend with something else. Label reads: None. A larger size too!
$ 129.00 - Sold OutThis stunner is a 1940s or 50s prom or party dress that looks like it could have been ( but wasn't) a ballerina's dress for Swan Lake. It was certainly inspired by it! Bodice is boned, and is strapless, and is covered in loosely gathered white tulle. Then those "wings" across the bust! To die. Beautifully studded with rhinestones or diamantes. Metal zipper on the side. I've shown this with a crinoline that's a bit short for it as I don't have a full length one, but imagine it with a full length! So lovely. Dress is white acetate with two layers of white tulle over it. Label reads: None. Small size, I'd say.

$ 25.00Lovely little girls white cotton dress. Buttons in the back with two separate little white buttons. Probably intended for a Christening gown but I think it would be perfectly lovely as just a regular baby dress. Its so light and airy, perfect for the Summer. Scalloped edge sleeves that. Very pretty embroidery and pintucks at the neckline, and the sweetest, tiniest little box pleats under both armpits. Little tag that says Handmade, Manilla Product. I am guessing at the age, but it looks 50s or so to me.

$ 22.00Adorable white cotton flannel baby girl's bed jacket. Ribbon tie at the top. Embroidered in pink round the edges with little green and pink flowers up the front and the most darling kitten face and paws at one corner. No label. I believe this is circa 1950s.

$ 59.00 - Sold OutStunning vintage cardigan from the 50s. Light Ivory or cream with pastel colored beads. Bodice is lined, sleeves unlined. Mix of lambswool, angora and nylon. Its very soft. Beautiful Pearlized buttons up the front. Label is awesome, really funny actually, it reads: Made Expressly for The May Co in British Hong Kong, goes on to list the contents, then says Made in Japan. So obviously someone needed to spend some time learning geography, or paying more attention to what they were putting on their labels. I'd say its a medium.
$ 75.00Super pretty 1950s dress with a black bodice and black and white print skirt. There is a Peter Pan collar and cuffs on the short sleeves made o the same fabric as the skirt. A short zipper up the skirt and then the bodice closes up the back with five buttons and one snap at the very top and a second snap at the waist. A great box pleat the very front of the skirt. The sleeves are kinda neat, you can fold up the top, black layer, as I've done in the photos, or leave it down so the black and white just peeks out. The skirt is lined, the top is not. I believe the top is a silk blend (maybe linen?), and the skirt a cotton blend. Its super cute either way. No label.
$ 50.00Wonderful black bathing suit from the 50s. This is the top of what would have been a two piece. The bottoms are missing alas, but because of the length of this, one could adjust about any black bottoms and be fine, or a contrasting color for a peek a boo effect! Has adjustable shoulder straps with buttons that can be placed at any of three holes. Elasticize smocking at the sides. Its hard to see in the photos but do you see where the two center seams come together with the cute bows over it? Right there is a white center panel giving this a tuxedo look. The two black seams are not sewn together so one can see the white panel when one moves around. No labels, feels like a nylon parachute type material. Extra large size.
$ 28.00Gorgeous black beaded clutch from the 1950s. Black silk covered in black and white microbeads in aa leaf pattern on one side, and the other side is a broader scattering of beads in lines. The clasp is set with rhinestones. There is a small interior pocket apart from the large one of course. And then on the outside is another small zipper compartment. There is no chain and it doesn't look like the ever was one. The bag is very fexible and its my impression that this was meant to fold in half to be carried more easily as a clutch and to hide the metal zippered pocket. Its just a gorgeous bag. There is a label that says it was Handbeaded and made in Jong Kong
$ 28.00Gorgeous black beaded clutch from the 1950s. Black silk covered in black microbeads and sequins. The clasp is gold tone. There is a small interior pocket apart from the large one of course. $ 14.00Darling black coin purse circa 1950s. This is an interesting material. Its a canvas or faille covered in little plastic dots. Its not a mesh, its solid, but its textured with these dots. Really fun. Interior is a fantastic dark red. Clasp is gold toned with plenty of patina. Forgive the couple of less than stellar photos, the color combination was not easy to get.
$ 22.00Lovely black clutch, circa 1950s.There is a gold tone clasp at the top with a ruffled bit of fabric on either side of it for interest Gold tone chain wrist strap. Interior is black vinyl and just the one large compartment. Outside looks and feels to me like a silk faille.
