CLEARANCE: Vintage 1950s Black Lace Party Dress by Lilli Diamond

Very special black lace illusion dress over a dark mauvey pink under layer of, I believe, faille. Tooo small for my dress forms so I've pinned her here. Flirty cap sleeves, full skirt though not a full circle, and the most gorgeous black velvet bow under the bust. Metal zipper up the back. Label reads: Original Lilli Diamond of California Also good for a costume or as a pattern or study. Extra small. Please read condition below.

Good to excellent vintage condition- depending on which part we're discussing. The pink under layer is in excellent condition, no issues there at all, ( though I did find one pinhead sized black spot on the bodice area) and the black velvet bow as well. As are zipper and hook and eye. The only issues this dress has is in the black lace. There are several tears and holes all over. The majority of them are on the bodice but there's some on the skirt too. Perhaps someone with more seamstress skills than I possess could replace the lace? or just love it as is anyway. or upcycle the parts into something new and fabulous! :) Its a stunning dress. Priced accordingly, as is, and why it's in my Scratch and Dent section.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist, and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 32"
Waist: 24"
Hips: loose
Shoulder to waist: 14"
Shoulder to bottom hem: approx. 42" (asymmetrical)
