Vintage 1940s 1950s Black Wool Mexican Souvenir Circle Skirt

Delicious black wool Mexican souvenir full skirt circa late 1940s or 1950s. Looks like a full circle from that hip seam down. Look at that multi color floral soutache embroidery in Day of the Dead colors! The last photo shows it with an added crinoline that's not included to really display that embroidery, but its equally gorgeous without it. Unlined, and I believe this is felted wool.  Hook and eyes at the side waist and a metal zipper. No label.

Excellent, vintage condition. All I've found is one pinhole and one pinsized hole that are both totally lost in the folds of the skirt.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist: 27" with room to move the hook about an inch
Hip: ( At that seam) 40" the rest is full
Waist to bottom hem: 37"
