$ 24.00I love the lavender-ey pink color of this pretty party dress. Its circa 1950s or early 60s. Would have had a little bolero jacket or top over the bodice and the hooks for that are still there. Its too small for my dress form by a bit so it's pinned in back but the zipper works great. This is an opaque layer of acetate or rayon with a sheer chiffon that feels like a poly maybe over the top. Full skirt but not a full circle, would be great with a crinoline, which I have not shown it with here. Sleeveless, wide waistband with a pellon lining to help it hold its shape. Zipper in the back. No label. Please see condition below as it has some issues. Small size, I'd say. Or extra small.
$ 35.00Very special black lace illusion dress over a dark mauvey pink under layer of, I believe, faille. Tooo small for my dress forms so I've pinned her here. Flirty cap sleeves, full skirt though not a full circle, and the most gorgeous black velvet bow under the bust. Metal zipper up the back. Label reads: Original Lilli Diamond of California Also good for a costume or as a pattern or study. Extra small. Please read condition below.
$ 49.00Just stunning New Old Stock dress with originals labels and tags, circa late 50s or early 60s. Rayon velvet bodice with tank style straps. Skirt is silk organza. Medium size I'd say. Label says: Renoir Originals, For Talls. Please see condition below.
$ 210.00If you know vintage designers you'll know why this dress is priced as it is regardless of its issues. This is a Ceil Chapman, designer to Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Deborah Kerr among many many others. This is from the 1950s. Beautiful goldish satin taffeta base covered in ivory tulle and utterly dripping in faux pearl beads and sequins with rhinestone centers. Its stunning. There's just no other word for it. There is a layer of tulle along the inside bottom hem, about the last ten inches, to give the hem some shape and movement. There is a metal zipper on the side. Two labels. One reads Ceil Chapman of course. That's on the side. The one behind the neck reads Hollywood, Wilkes Barre, PA. Please read condition below as this ha some issues.
$ 15.00Fancy gold damask shirtwaist style dress circa 1950s. Five covered buttons up the front and a metal zipper. Pretty tie bow at the neck. Long sleeves with three buttons at the cuffs. The fabric feels like it could have some silk in it but I don't think it's 100% silk. Bodice is lined. No label, probably in the medium size range.
$ 28.00Fantastic vintage 50 wiggle dress in black crepe. Short sleeves, metal zipper in back, and a cute rolled waist with two little bows in front. No Label. This dress is still very cute but does have issues, thus being in my scratch and dent section. Please see below.
$ 25.00Fantastic vintage 50 wiggle dress in silk satin damask with silver embroidery and gold velvet soutache. This is a true wiggle as there is no split in the skirt. Sleeveless tank style with a low v back. Fully lined in silk. She's too small for my dress forms so I've pinned her on. There is no specific designer label but it does have a label that says it was "Made In British Crown Colony of Hong Kong" This dress is still wearable but does have issues, thus being in my scratch and dent section. Please see below.
$ 15.00Cute lace pencil skirt circa 1950s. Ice blue acetate lining with white lace over it. Super pretty scalloped edge at the bottom hem. Metal zipper down the back with one hook and eye at top. It is too small for my dress form so I just pinned it in back as you can see in the photos. There is no label. Fully lined. Extra small size, I'd say.
$ 219.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. Makes me think of a Black Swan. The most amazing bodice with a black velvet modesty panel across the bust and then black lace and velvet straps over the shoulders. The velvet carries all down the back to a bow at the waist and extra long ends hanging down the skirt. Just gorgeous! Almost a full circle skirt. Has metal zipper on the side. No label. A lovely larger size, and great for a taller girl too! Yay! It's just a hair too big for me or I'd have kept this one for sure.
$ 18.00Fancy black fabric belt from about the 1950s. Its one and a quarter inches wide, and is studded in front with rhinestones or diamantes in a vaguely Art Deco pattern. Has snap closures on the back. Its 32" from very end to end. No label or mark.
$ 219.00This is a magnificent full length opera coat from about the 1940s or 50s in black silk velvet. Incredible shaped collar! Slightly puffed shoulders, though no shoulder pads. Simple clean lines with no front closure. Fully lined in black satin. Label reads: Bergdorf Goodman Fifth Avenue at 58th Street. Small to smaller medium I'd say.
$ 219.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. I wish wish, wish I had a dress form small enough for this so you could get the real feel for it, but it's too small so I've had to pin it. Hopefully that will be enough. Its utterly divine. The most amazing bullet shape bodice just full of gorgeous beading all round the bust front and back and then soft black tulle over the shoulders. Fantastic gather at the hip on one side and then this fall of liquid black silk satin skirt which has a small rounded cornered slit on one side. Has metal zipper on the side, but curiously on the right, not the left as usual, and yes, I've made sure which side is front and back. No label, probably homemade though very, very well by an excellent seamstress, but that may explain the zipper.
$ 199.00This is exquisite! Delicious black wool Mexican full skirt circa late 40s or 50s. Looks like a full circle from that hip seam down. Look at that multi color floral embroidery in Day of the Dead colors! I've shown it with an added crinoline that's not included to really display that embroidery, but its equally gorgeous without it. Unlined, and I believe this is felted wool. Hook and eyes at the side waist and a metal zipper. No label. Small size. Gosh I wish it fit me!
$ 26.00Darling ivory fascinator veil, circa 1940s or 50s with a birdcage veil and crochet lace flowers round a stiff mesh crown base. No label. Hat seems to be one size fits all, or at least most. Really pretty little thing and perfect for a vintage wedding.
$ 15.00Charming clown figurines. Circa 1940s or 50s, and most likely made in Japan. Listing is for the three. They are just the sweetest things with their little painted faces. The largest stands about 4" tall and the two smaller about 3" tall. None of them are marked on the bottom which is why I'm not 100% sure they are Japanese. However, there is some sharpie markings on each which is most likely covering something, maybe that was a mark, or possibly an old price or something. I don't know, it was there when I acquired these.
$ 20.00Darling small prints in black metal frames of early Horseless Carriages. Perfect for a car lover or collector! There is a purple velvet backing and a circular metal hanger. They measure 4.25" x 3.25". The listing is for the pair. Please convo me if you're interested in that.
$ 56.00Darling girls party dress circa late 40 or early 50s. Ivory organza or organdy overdress with wide pintucking pleats and a Peter Pan collar, Goes over a separate acetate slip dress with a built in semi stiff woven crinoline. Fit and flare shape. I love the ricrac trim round the bottom hem. Dress has buttons up the back, slip has a metal side zipper. The dress itself is sheer. The slip is cute enough on its own to be a dress by itself nowdays. There is no label. There was, but its been cut away, so all that remains is a lot number label on the slip. About preteen size, but do check the measurements below.
$ 30.00Lovely deep olive green satin cocktail hat circa late 40s or 50s. Trimmed all over with velvet flower buds and leaves in varying shades of green and gold threads. Lined with lace and velvet cording.
$ 40.00Pretty pale pink 1940s or 50s full slip in taffeta. Quite a full skirt. Snaps on the side, straps are not adjustable. Would make a sweet nightgown as well as a slip or slip dress. No label. I'd say its about a large-ish medium

Cap sleeves. darts at the bust and a few pleats at the waist. Small shoulder pads. Feels like a silk blend or rayon to me. Has a side metal zipper. Medium to smaller large size, I'd say. Unlined. No label.
$ 79.00Deep espresso brown lightly boucled two piece suit circa the 1940s, maybe 50s. The jacket is really the star here. It has these fantastic buttons! The sleeves are not quite full length, but a bit longer than 3/4. The bottom hem in front has a slits at either hip. Shoulder pads. Its kind of a shorter, more boxy shape, that makes me think 60s, but the woman I got it from said her mother wore it well before then and there are definitely things about it that make me think she's right. The skirt is A line, has several darts at the waist for a nice shape, and a metal zipper at the side. Both jacket and skirt are lined in what feels like rayon. The body is probably wool. Medium size, I'd say. There are two labels. The designer ones read "Friedmont" and are in both jacket and skirt. Then there is an additional one for the store it was sold at, reads: "Housemans, Grand Rapids".
$ 16.00Gorgeous leather bow tie circa 1940s. Pre tied, elastic round the neck but with only a little stretch so it won't choke you. This would be a darling necklace worn with a tank top or something as well as traditional bow tie. Adjustable. Hooks to itself to close. Bow is 3.25" wide and 1.75" tall. Adjusts from 8" to 18" and you could probably stretch it out a little more than that if you don't mind it too snug, I stretched it a bit to get to 18, but it could go a bit more. Label reads: None
$ 28.00Large Sir Walter Raleigh tobacco tin circa 1940s. Red and black with the face of Himself featuring on the front. The lid lifts off and can be pushed down to seal. On the bottom of the tin are some old stickers that show the "tobacco tax" was paid. This little piece of history and story is SO CHARMING!!!! This is a larger size, 14 oz container, and perfect for any collection. Measures about 5" tall and 5" in diameter.

Sunshine-y yellow taffeta, with a sheer mesh illusion panel round the front and back at the top of the bodice, fitted bodice with a gathered shawl type drapey collar that substitutes as cap sleeves as there are no real sleeves. Twenty seven decorative fabric covered buttons up the back, and then a long flowy skirt. Matching fingerless gloves add the perfect touch. I've shown it with a light crinoline underneath but its pretty full so you could add a bigger one or none at all. It would be equally lovely any way you wished to wear it. No label. Id say a small size.

$ 50.00Wonderful black bathing suit from the 50s. This is the top of what would have been a two piece. The bottoms are missing alas, but because of the length of this, one could adjust about any black bottoms and be fine, or a contrasting color for a peek a boo effect! Has adjustable shoulder straps with buttons that can be placed at any of three holes. Elasticize smocking at the sides. Its hard to see in the photos but do you see where the two center seams come together with the cute bows over it? Right there is a white center panel giving this a tuxedo look. The two black seams are not sewn together so one can see the white panel when one moves around. No labels, feels like a nylon parachute type material. Extra large size.
