$ 35.0050s black lace bed jacket, lined in the softest blush pink nylon. It has the sweetest little black satin rosette detail at the bust, and a flirty frill of lace ruffle all around the bottom hem. Would actually be great as a top over a tank or sleek top. Snaps shut, v back and front. Larger size! Had a label but its been cut out, sadly.
$ 50.00Wonderful black bathing suit from the 50s. This is the top of what would have been a two piece. The bottoms are missing alas, but because of the length of this, one could adjust about any black bottoms and be fine, or a contrasting color for a peek a boo effect! Has adjustable shoulder straps with buttons that can be placed at any of three holes. Elasticize smocking at the sides. Its hard to see in the photos but do you see where the two center seams come together with the cute bows over it? Right there is a white center panel giving this a tuxedo look. The two black seams are not sewn together so one can see the white panel when one moves around. No labels, feels like a nylon parachute type material. Extra large size.
$ 89.00Delicious black quilted full skirt circa late 40s or early 50s. Look at that darling novelty print in all the primary colors of country icons such as little flowers, chickens, people and bells. Fully lined with what feels to me like an ivory muslin. Gives its a lot of shape, weight and texture on its own, but I've shown it with an added crinoline that's not included. Tons of hem if you want to let it down. Buttons at the waist and a metal zipper. Waistband is lined in black satin. No label. Small to medium size, I'd say.
$ 169.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the 1950s. The silkiest, liquid silk satin. Like a raven's wing. In the right light there's a hint of a blue sheen even, its that black. Fitted bodice with a slightly dropped waist. Princess seams, full skirt though not quite a full circle and you can see my very full crinoline is a bit too much for it, sleeveless and the shoulders are meant to be worn wide. Metal zipper up the back. I'd say small to medium sized. No label but made very well. Whomever made this even put a bit of blue grosgrain ribbon inside the waist horizontally which, I believe, is meant to keep the seams from pulling as its quite form fitted. Smart! Its not all the way round though, there are some long ends hanging inside so I think someone else unstitched part of it off at some point. You'll see it. Doesn't affect the exterior at all.
$ 28.00Cute white bullet bra from the 1950s, possibly 60s. Clearly she's too big for Lola, my dress form, but you can get the idea at least. White cotton with embroidery on the top part of the cups. Elastic band round the bottom in front, elastic band across the back. That back elastic has no stretch to it anymore though. Back has two hook and eye settings. Shoulder straps are not adjustable but they are elastic. There is no brand label anymore, but there is a size label and it reads 44 C, 100% cotton, exclusive of decoration, and has a union made stamp.
$ 76.00Fantastic 1960s possibly early 70s romper playsuit in a dark pink and green floral-ish print. Inner bra support, crisscross straps which are adjustable to 3 different lengths via buttons inside the top. Attached tie belt at the waist. Smocked back, and darling horizontal sweetheart pleats at the neckline. Princess seams. There is also an inner flesh colored nylon panty with elastic legs for modesty. Yay! Label reads: Roxanne, Bra Sized. And on the reverse it says size 10/ 32 B But do take that bearing in kind that vintage sizing is not the same as modern, so please check the measurements I've listed below. 100% cotton.
$ 52.00Pretty in purple, one piece swimsuit from the early 1970s. This has a built in bra, adjustable shoulder straps, a little skirt over the front, and a V back. Fantastic ruching on one side and a crossover neckline for a flattering fit. It is lined in front through the crotch. Label reads: Perfection Fit by Roxanne, and it is given as a Size 14/36 with a B cup size, but do please remember these are vintage sizes and are not the same as modern number sizes. See my measurements given below.
