Vintage Antique 1800s 1900s Victorian Blouse In Black Silk

Stunning Victorian blouse in black silk.  High lace neck with two pieces of boning, but the boning is not original to the blouse. Vertical pintucks. Bishop sleeves.  Hooks and eyes all down the back. No label. I believe this is 1890s or 1900s.

Great to excellent vintage condition, especially given its age. Still very wearable, especially with just a little tlc.  The things to note are: a hole, about two inches long on a sleeve. See photo. A skilled seamstress could probably repair it quite easily and it would barely show due t the volume of the sleeve.  Thats really the worst of it. Otherwise, there was a piece along the bottom of the front thats been removed, so the front is a little rough. If you are going to tuck this shirt into a skirt, as would be correct for the period, it wouldn't show anyway. Otherwise there is an inch opening along one cuff seam, and some threadbare spots. Also, I believe that this used to have ties at either side that drew it in tight at the back, and you can kinda of see where those used to be. But they're no longer with us.

Shoulder to shoulder: 15.5"
Armpit to armpit across bust: 42"
Waist: 45" meant to be pulled in to fit.
Shoulder to waist at side: 20"
