Classy tailored camel colored jacket from the late 1940s, perhaps earliest 1950s. Has a rounded lapel, and five pearlized buttons up the front, padded shoulders. The sleeve cuffs are folded up and have a cute rounded corner detail. There are pockets at either hip, though they are open on the interior of the jacket so I wouldn't plan on using them unless you want to stitch up the open part inside. Nipped in tailored waist. Small to medium size, I'd say. Label reads: "Weathervane tailored by Handmacher in a Celanese acetate fabric".
Excellent vintage condition. There are some small marks, and the cuffs of the sleeves are a bit smudged. Priced accordingly.
Measurements taken lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip. Shoulder to shoulder: 14" Bust: 36" Waist: 28" Shoulder to bottom hem: 22"
