Vintage 1940s 1950s New Look Velvet Jacket by Nona Originals

Stunning late 1940s, Early 1950s jacket in rich black cotton velvet. Wonderful New Look shape with a nipped in waist, a peplum lined in a golden-ish faille and lightly double breasted with matching velvet buttons. Lightly padded shoulders. Label reads: Nona Originals. I swoon over the gold peeking out behind. This has been reinforced with both a snap and a hook and eye at the waist to make sure it doesn't strain the fabric and you can go for that incredible New Look curve!
Excellent near mint vintage condition. I can't find anything worth noting other than a very small repair at one cuff.

Measurements taken laid flat: Doubled at bust, and waist.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 40"
Waist: 28"
Shoulder to waist : 16:
Shoulder to bottom hem: 19"
