Antique Edwardian Era 1910s Photograph of a Young Lady

The Black Velvet Emporium

1 Available

Gorgeous portrait of a young woman from the 1910s This is a sepia toned black and white, I believe it is Platinum, a type of photo process that was very popular from the late 1800s through the 1920s. The photo was taken by Ringer from Paola Kansas. The photo is securely encased in a cardboard cover in a dark brown, with the name of the studio inside. This has protected it well over the years and it is in fine shape. The entire thing measures about 9.25" tall by just over 6.25" wide when the cover is closed. The photo itself is 5.5" by 3.75".
Excellent vintage condition. The photo is just about perfect. The cover is actually very good too except that there is something paper-y that was stuck to the back and has come mostly away. Otherwise there are some minor scuffs to the cardbard but that's about it

Please note: This is a vintage, preworn and/or preloved item, and as such is one of a kind and not eligible for returns or refunds. I do my utmost best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected, and there are occasionally small things I won't deem worthy of note. Please feel free to send me a missive with any questions. I'm truly happy to help in any way possible and I'm always up for a chat. Any accessories shown, including crinolines, are for display only, not included unless otherwise stated.
