Vintage 1940s 1950s Pink Lace New Look Dress With Belt, Jack Kopp

Toadstool Farm Vintage

1 Available

Fantastic vintage late 40s/ early 50s New Look party dress in salmon pink lace over an opaque salmon acetate lining. Comes with a matching belt. Full skirt, mid length, short dolman sleeves that are gathered down the length, metal zipper on the side. This is such a pretty dress and perfect for just about any event. Label reads: Jack Kopp, California. Probably in the medium size range.

Excellent vintage condition. The only thing of note are some worn areas in the lace, the worst being near the waistline. They are not tears really, just areas where the threads between the floral designs in the lace have broken, probably easily repaired by a better seamstress than I. They are not very noticeable and if you wear the dress gently you could just leave them alone and be fine. You can see an example of one of these if you look at the very first picture at the closeup. Just under the right bust below the belt.  Also one of the belt loops just needs to be restitched on one end.

Measurements taken with dress laid flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.

Armpit to armpit across bust: 38" ( this is a dolman sleeve so this is approx. within an inch)
Waist: 27"
Hips: full
Shoulder to waist: 16"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 47"
