This dress from the 1940s is just absolutely lovely. That color has to be one of my absolute favorites. Very Autumn-esque in a rust orange. And all the perfect details, like the pointed collar and all those accordion pleats at the hips that hide two pockets... Pockets, how wonderful! Large sized, I'd say. I believe its a rayon satin. Unlined. Label says: Rembrandt and it also has a shop label that says: Frederick & Nelson, Frenelle, Seattle
Excellent to great vintage condition. Overall its quite fine but there are what appear to be waterspots or something similar in various places on the front and back. There are also signs that someone let it out over the years. Priced accordingly
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip. Armpit to armpit across bust: dolman sleeve so about 40" Waist: 30" Hips: 42" Shoulder to waist: 16.5" Shoulder to bottom hem: 49"
Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
