Vintage 1960s Emma Domb Ivory Satin Wedding Gown

Toadstool Farm Vintage

1 Available

Stunning Renaissance Inspired wedding gown by Emma Domb, circa 1960s. Champagne satin with a square neckline and short sleeves trimmed in the most beautiful trim of deep red roses and green leaves. Then, look down at the bottom hem and there is a full 7" wide band of even more glorious trim of flowers in hues of blue deep red and rust with green leaves. Its so gorgeous! Empire waisted. Zips up the back. Label reads: Emma Domb, California. Medium size, I'd say.

Great vintage condition. There is an unfortunate waterstain just above the trim at the bottom hem all the way round. That's said, if one re-hemmed this and move the trim up a few inches it would get rid of that entirely. Or one could add another narrower band of a different coordinating trim above if you wanted to keep the length. Otherwise the only thing to note are a couple seams that were let out at some point, and a couple of very minor thin light blue marks on the back of one sleeve. Priced accordingly.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Bust: 38"
Waist ( empire) : 34"
Hip: loose up to 44"
Shoulder to (empire) waist: About 13"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 57"
