Stunning black satin wiggle dress from the 1950s with a defined bullet bra bodice and a matching jacket. Metal zipper up the back, and it feels like silk satin to me but I have not tested it. If you love the super pointy bullet bra look you'll love this dress, its a very strong point. MY dress form, Lola, doesn't have quite the...err..girls to fill her out correctly, but I'm sure you get the idea. The bodice is boned on either side as well to really help shape everything up.  Spaghetti straps.  Slit at the back off the skirt.  I'd say small to medium size. Label says: No label. Jacket has 3/4 dolman sleeves and is so well constructed you could in act turn it inside out and wear it that way as well.
Excellent vintage condition. The jacket is totally mint. The is almost, but it has a couple small things to mention. One is that the zipper is missing a tooth or two near the top. It has not kept me from being able to zip it all the way up or down, but you'll just want to be aware of it and not manhandle it.  The other is that at some point some of the inner hem seam started to come undone and rather than restitch it, a previous owner put a line of masking tape there. I suspect they did this to keep any stitches from marring the perfect line of smooth velvet on the exterior.  With my meagre seamstress skills I, frankly, was afraid of the same, so I've left it. Its totally wearable this way, and it doesn't show or make the hem look stiff or whattaveyou, but if you're a good seamstress, you could just pull the tape off and sew that.
