Gorgeous milk chocolate colored dress circa 1950s or possibly 60s. Simple, classic shape, short sleeves, scoop neckline, longer length lightly A line skirt with a kick pleat in back. Really interesting seams on both sides that add a lot of shape. This fabric has the look and feel of a raw silk linen blend. Metal zipper up the back. Label reads: Tall Fashions of Californian by Martin Berens. And yes, I'd agree this would be simply wonderful for a taller girl as you can tell by the photos my dress form, Lola, is a bit short for this. Its quite slim though, so tall and slender is best. At some point a previous owner pinned two sweat guards into the armpits, You can remove this if you like or keep them. I've left them, they come out with just taking out the safety pins, they are not sewn in.
Excellent, near mint, vintage condition. I have not seen a single thing worth noting.
