Vintage 1940s Platt Luggage Suitcase

Classy 1940s suitcase by Plat Luggage. Has hardwall sides and semi hard back with a soft fabric cover. All in a vaguely tweedy material in shades of beige and brown.   It does have a locking zipper but the key is long gone I'm afraid. Tan brown leather trim and handle. Measures approx. 21.5" long by 18" tall ( not including handle) and 6" deep. Interior has peachy colored lining that looks and feels like rayon to me. There is one zipper pocket and another elastic pocket, and ties to cross over your belongs to keep them in place. Excellent to great vintage condition. The interior is remarkably nearly mint. Just very minor signs of use, ie one side of the ties has pulled away a bit but is still attached and usable. The exterior shows more smudges and marks typical of its age and use.
