Vintage Hollywood Costume Trousers in Blue Satin

Toadstool Farm Vintage

This comes from an enormous collection of Old Hollywood Movie Costumes I was lucky enough to stumble across. More about those later after the measurements so please read on...
Gorgeous men's trousers or riding jodhpurs in sky blue satin. Would make amazing gypsy pants or something along those lines for a woman.  Hook and eyes at the side, and hip pockets. High and wide waistband.  My best guess as to age of this is 50s. There are a variety of seam finishes that date from serval eras. The seam up the back of the  pant seat has been stitched tighter, obviously to fit whatever later wear these were fitted to. It can be let out again to gain anther two inches through the waist and hip.  There is no label but inside is written i ink WB and the numbers M ( or 3 perhaps) 47308-2. Here are more hook and eyes at the bottom of the pant cuffs. Fully lined in what feels like a cotton twill perhaps, in soft gray.
Good to great vintage condition. These are still very wearable, but they do have some minor issues as do most of the pieces in this collection of costumes. There are some smudges and marks. Relatively minor really. And some of the folds, like along the op of the waistband, have gone ever so slightly thin. There are some areas of color fade. Otherwise these are in dramatically good shape!    Please note that all items in this Costume section may have minor other flaws ( or example; missing snaps, small areas of loose seams, pinholes, etc..)  that I have not listed as its just not possible to find and or list every minor thing as these have lived quite a life! Priced accordingly, As Is and Final Sale.
Measurements taken lying flat. Doubled at waist, and hip.

Waist: 24" but could easily go to 26" taking out the seam I mentioned above
Hip: 48'
hip to bottom hem: 38"
PLEASE READ: I acquired an absolutely enormous collection of Hollywood movie costumes. Ranging across the board from Paramount, Universal, Unified Costumers and more. The last known film much of the items were used in was Lawrence of Arabia but we have no way of knowing which ones and there are others from other films. Most likely they were used on extras or smaller roles, I have not come across anything I can pinpoint to a major name from that film.  Many of these were made much earlier, and I have found dates written on tags within from as early as the 1940s, though I believe some are even earlier.  I have given as much information as I can about each item in the listing. Much has been lost to time however.  That said, these are an extraordinary piece of movie history and I'm honored to be a part of it all.
Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected. Please feel free to convo me with any questions. I'm truly happy to help in any way possible and I'm always up for a chat. Any accessories shown, including crinolines, are for display only, not included unless otherwise stated.
