Vintage 1940s Does 1900s Red Corduroy Skirt

Toadstool Farm Vintage

1 Available

This red corduroy Victorian/Edwardian style skirt was made circa the 1940s or 1950s. It came from a huge collection of Hollywood movie costumes I acquired. It has all the style of the 1900s to 1910s but fabric and construction date it to later decades. I do love when decades meet this way! Flat front, pleated back with a slight train to the back of the skirt.  Hooks and eyes in back. Wide waistband for a flattering look. No label.
Excellent vintage condition. I spotted on quarter inch long dark smudge lost in the folds. And there is evidence that the waist band was taken in at two points and then let out.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip
Waist: 25"
Hips: full
Waist to bottom hem: 41" in front center. Back center is 42.5
Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected. Please feel free to convo me with any questions. I'm truly happy to help in any way possible and I'm always up for a chat. Any accessories shown, including crinolines, are for display only, not included unless otherwise stated
