Vintage 1970s Does 1940s White Knit Skirt

I love that the 1970s had a resurgence of the 1930s and 1940s styles. Take this skirt...perfectly 1940s in look! Snow white with accordion pleats and a side zip with one button at the waist. Nearly a full circle too though you wouldn't necessarily know that based on its style.  No label. 

Excellent vintage condition. The only thing I spotted was some very faint yellowing at the waistband that may be the inner band showing through. Not really noticed when worn.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist: 30"
Hip: free up to about 68"
Waist to bottom hem: 29"
