$ 65.00 - Sold OutOne of the best hats in my shop currently. Stunning example of a 1920s true cloche. Its a rich deep olive, not quite forest green. The inside is mesh. There is a wide grosgrain ribbon round the bottom of the rim and then the rest is covered with green quail feathers. Over all that is a layer of green birdcage netting. There is a bow of the same grosgrain that can be worn anywhere on the head you like, front ,back or side. What's even better is this hat lays perfectly flat for easy storage or travel. The feather ends do tend to get stuck in the veil though when you go to unflatten it, so just reach up and gently lay them all down. Measures 21.5" Fits snug.
$ 45.00Lovely pink hat circa 1930s or possibly 40s. Soft dusty pink fabric, feels like a crepe over a mesh base, embellished with pink and cream flowers and lavender purple birdcage netting. There are tendrils of more netting hanging down the back. I believe they are meant to be tied or somehow shape into the hair to help hold this on. No label. Measures 11" across the inside, and is about 5.25" wide at it's widest. This is meant to be more of a topper so one size will fit most.

Black taffeta that curves round the head in various folds and angles, that makes me think of the bow parts of a ribbon Bow, but without the knot in the center. There is a wire inside the brim so one can bend this too one's desired shape to an extent. The fabric this is made out of has a sort of sheen to it. Really cute design. There is a pearl tipped hat pin included that was there when I bought this and I've just left it. Balances on the head with V clips on either side. Measures approx. 16" across the diameter at the widest, and the cap inside is a bit over 20" around, but as its meant to balance more on the top of the crown its one size fits all more or less. There is no designer label but there is a size label that says Medium. The inside is lined in acetate with a grosgrain ribbon round the inside. The front, I guess you'd call it a brim or bill, is embellished with small black beads that look like jet to me. It ahs a slightly squashy shape which I personally like, but I believe it could be steamed to be more smooth through the crown as well if you prefer. Will ship flat.

$ 48.00Wonderful brown mushroom, or cartwheel hat circa late 1940s or early 1950s. I'm unsure of exactly what the material is, but it seems like a nubby silk barkcloth, if you can imagine that. Balances on the head with a stiff cap underneath. Then there is a wide brim going out form the cap, and then on top of that is a second layer, more loose and full, of the same fabric. All combined it gives a lovely appearance if a really full mushroom. There is wire in the brim so it can be shaped however you like. Measures approx. 13" across the diameter at the widest, and the cap inside is a bit over 19" around, but as its meant to balance more on the top of the crown its one size fits all more or less. It looks like there was a designer label at one point but its sadly gone.

Brim is a bit wider at the front than the back. This was a bit hard to measure due to the way the brim is shaped. I came up with 20.5". It is sort of meant to sit atop the crown so measurement may not matter so much but if you are very concerned about correct fit, pleas convo me with questions about it first and I'll see if I can help.
