Vintage 1940s Skippy Peanut Butter Jar and Lid

If you're a peanut butter lover, like me, you'll love this. Glass jar with Skippy lid, circa the 40s, or so.  The lid is metal with red and white graphics.  There is a 2nd lid, for Beverly Peanut Butter, that I'm including with this. I dont have the jar for the Beverly but the lids are pretty much interchangeable. Both fit the jar.  I have been unable to find any photos of older Skippy jars with tis unusual shape so I can't guarantee that this jar was originally sold with this lid. But this is how they all came to me. What a wonderful way to store sugar or candy or other items in a vintage kitchen! Stands just shy of 4.5" tall  and is about 3.5" at the widest in diameter.
Excellent vintage condition, nothing worth noting other than the typical wear and signs of age to the lids.
