Antique 1910s Black Silk Satin Skirt

Lovely black silk satin skirt circa the 1910s. Ivory cotton muslin waistband with a drawstring. If I had to hazard a guess I'd say this was part of a servants ensemble. Pleated just below the waistband. The drawstring is a some red and white cotton string and doesn't seem quite long or sturdy enough for this and is probably not original. I would suggest replacing it with something more appropriate.

Excellent vintage condition. The only thing worth noting is a bit of a smudge on the muslin.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist: 29" when flat, can be pulled tighter.
Hip: loose but up to about 46"
Waist to bottom hem: 34"
