Stunning 1920s dress with a lace and chiffon illusion neckline. Plus size, its pinned to my dress form to show its shape. Last photo shows it unpinned. I believe the whole thing is silk, the chiffon is for sure, the lace probably as well. The black I tested and to me it says silk, but its a stiffer silk than I'm used to, so I won't swear to it. Perhaps its Viscose. Either way, its gorgeous and drapes beautifully. There is no opening in this dress, it merely pulls over the head. There are two slits on either side at the bottom of the skirt, but I believe they were let out as an afterthought. I will leave it up to you whether to close them back up or leave as is. No label.
Excellent vintage condition. For it's age and the delicacy of the fabric this is in remarkable shape. The only real thing to note is some darkening of the lace under both arms. And one armpit has some torn chiffon as well. See photos.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip Armpit to armpit across bust: 48" Waist: free but 49" Hips: 50" Shoulder to bottom hem: 44"
