Vintage 1920s Book "The Return of the Native" by Thomas Hardy

Beautiful edition by Harper & Brothers Publishers in 1922 of Thomas Hardy's, "The Return of the Native". Its hardbound in dark green with black decoration on the spine. It measures about 8" x 5" and is 485 pages. There is an intro by Warner Taylor. Excellent vintage condition for a book of this age. There is fading and scuffs to the cover and yellowing of the pages and some watermarks on the fly leaf. But it is sturdy and very readable. There is a note from a previous owner inside the bac over various questions regarding the book, like what a book club might discuss. A lovely edition to any vintage library!
