Vintage 1930s 1940s Black Beaverette Hat

Utterly stunning black beaverette hat with a wide brim, and a wide ribbon round the crown ending in a long hanging tail in the back. It is unlined inside except for a silk satin band and there are no labels. Measures 22" round the inside. The hat itself is a little over 15" long and about 13.5" wide. This was a hard one to date but my best guess is circa the 1930s or 1940s but it could be a bit earlier or even a bit later.

Excellent, near mint, vintage condition. This is an extraordinary hat.
