Vintage 1930s Cook Book "The Art of Cooking and Serving" by Sarah Field Splint

Wonderful vintage cookbook from the 1930s. 1934 to be exact. "The Art of Cooking and Serving" by Sarah Field Splint who was the editor of the Food Dept. for McCall's Magazine. It as published by Proctor and Gamble and featured 549 tested Crisco recipes. And there are some wonderful black and white, and color, photographs scattered throughout the pages.
It measures about 7.25" x 4.75" and is a paperback. Generally its still in great vintage condition. There are typical signs of age to the cover, such as smudges and stains and wear, as befitting a book used in a kitchen. The actual recipe pages seem to be still very much intact though slightly yellowed with age and perhaps a it looser than they used to be. This is a charming addition to any cook's library!
