Vintage 1940s 1950s Collar in White or Pale Ivory

Very pretty detachable collar in winter white/ pale ivory. Circa 1940s or so. Has pretty crochet lace trim with scalloped edges.   No designer label. Measures about 22" from end to end not including the trim and 2.25" wide, again not including trim. 

Excellent vintage condition. A few minor loose threads in the lace trim is really about it. There  doesn't seem to be a button or snap to hold it together but I don't believe there ever was one.
