Vintage 1940s 1950s Pink Silk Fit And Flare Dress with Black Velvet Trim

Absolutely gorgeous vintage 1950s, possibly very late 1940s, fit and flare dress. Pink silk trimmed in black velvet ribbon at the neckline that has a flirty bow at the back. A full circle skirt too. Half sleeves and a side metal zipper. Label reads: none. Small size I'd say. Unlined.

Excellent vintage condition. There is one tiny hole in the skirt that has a patch repair, see photo. Its mostly lost in the volume of fabric. The top of the zipper needs a few stitches as the seam there ahs come apart a bit.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: approx 35"
Waist: 25"
Hips: full
Shoulder to waist: 15"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 43.5"
