Vintage 1940s Brown Corde Handbag by Luxor With Lucite Handle

Gorgeous 1940s brown cord'e bag from Luxor. How to describe cord'e? Its kind of like a soutache, I suppose, but specifically it's cord covered with silk or rayon all looped together to create a pattern. There is a metal zipper across the top of the main compartment and inside is a small narrow pouch for, perhaps a comb or cards. There is a lucite handle. Its just a gorgeous bag. Label treads: Genuine Cord'e, By Luxor.
Approx 13" wide at the widest when flat and 6" tall not including strap.

Excellent vintage condition. Very little signs of its age. Just one dime sized pale mark on one side, see photo.
