Vintage 1940s Embroidered Butterfly Linen Table Runner

Gorgeous vintage rectangular table runner circa the 1940s, possibly the 1950s, with the most amazing butterflies and bows embroidered on it. Heavy linen. Measures approx. 48" long by 18" wide.
Excellent vintage condition. There is a pea sized hole and one or two pin dot marks. But the only real issue is that I believe this was trimmed in some sort of lace and that's been removed. The edge left is kinda neat though with a slight unfinished but even look to it so it would be fine as is, or oe could easily stitch some more lace trim to it.
