Vintage 1940s Kay Carter Brown and Gray Floral Print Rayon Day Dress

Lovely vintage 1940s dress with a fantastic print of flowers and perhaps grasses in shades of brown and gray. V neck with pretty oversize bow. Short sleeves. Side metal zipper. sized, I'd say. Label reads: A Kay Carter Original. Looks and feels like rayon to me

Excellent vintage condition. There is a dime size hole on the back at the top of the pleats, and a previous owner has written their zname inside the back of the neckline.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 40" barely
Waist: 29"
Hips: 40"
Shoulder to waist: 15.25"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 42"
