Gorgeous handpainted porcelain earrings from about the 1940s. They feature a beautiful portrait of a woman from an older time period, perhaps Regency or Victorian? Marked on the back with Limoges France. The edges are scalloped and edged in gold, and they are about .75" in diameter. They are screw backs of a gold tone metal, perhaps bronze. The backs are not exact matches so I believe one was a replacement or they were perhaps from different pairs that were matched at a later date.
Excellent vintage condition. No issues worth noting other than typical patina and signs of age.
Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected. Please feel free to convo me with any questions. I'm truly happy to help in any way possible and I'm always up for a chat. Any accessories shown, including crinolines, are for display only, not included unless otherwise stated.
