Stunning 1940s possibly early 1950s wedding gown in winter white. Fit and flare shape with a high illusion neckline with a swatch of lace round the shoulders and beaded trim. Has a chapel length train trimmed in more lace. The whole thing is yards and yards of tulle over acetate lining. Label reads: A Maurer Original. Extra small size, I'd say. Too small to fit on my dress form so I've pinned her to show her shape.

Excellent to good vintage condition. The structure of the dress itself is excellent. I haven't spotted any holes in any of the tulle or acetate and its very clean, no real stains to speak of ( though forgive me if I missed something small, there's a ton of fabric here. The beaded trim is also in excellent shape. The issue is the lace. It would probably be best replaced as there are several holes and stains. Also the buttons, unless you like that aged look, as they seem to have rusted over the years. Priced accordingly.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust waist and hip.
Bust: 33"
Waist: 23.5" there is enough seam allowance to get another inch but that's about it.
Hip: loose
Shoulder to waist: 15" at sides
Shoulder to bottom hem: 54" approx. at sides.
