Vintage 1950s Bas Relief Framed Girl & Boy Wall Art

Charming vintage ceramic wall hangings of regency or Victorian era children, a boy and a girl. In a semi bas relief style, possibly chalkware. Charming decorative "frames" in blush pink. They measure approx 8" x 6" including the "frames". There are strings in the back to hang them with, though they are starting to look the worse for wear, so I think I'd replace with wire. The back is stamped with 3555. The listing is for the pair.

Excellent vintage condition. Some charmingly distressed areas of paint on the frame parts. I saw no chips or cracks.
