Adorable illustrated edition of "Black Beauty" by Anna Sewell. The full title of this edition is "Black Beauty Retold for Little Children", and it was rewritten by Marcia Martin. Charmingly illustrated by George Santos. This edition was published in 1952. Multi colored hardback cover. Cover and spine has some dings and marks and small tears. The pages are mildly yellowed but in generally good condition. There is the name of a previous owner in the front. Published by Grosset & Dunlap as part of their Wonder Books series. Measures approx. 8.25" x 6.5".
