Vintage 1950s Black Dress With Long Sleeves Button Front and Deep V Neck
Gorgeous black dress from about the 1950s. The bodice on this is so interesting. It has three bands of sating running in horizontal stripes round the waist, with two buttons. The top itself is slightly blousey with a very deep V neck. I am not sure if there was ever any closures up there or not. Its quite sexy as is. Long sleeves with a bit of pouf at the shoulder. Has metal zipper on the side. No label. Id say this is in the medium range. Feels and looks like a light weight wool blend. Fully lined.
Excellent, near mint, vintage condition. Nothing really worth noting. Oh, I did just spot about an inch of seam at the very top of the zipper that needs to be restitched.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip. This dress has lots of seam allowance, you could easily let out out a couple inches if need be. Armpit to armpit across bust: 38" Waist: 30" Hips: free up to 40" Shoulder to waist 62" Shoulder to waist: 17" Shoulder to bottom hem: 43"
