Beautiful black silk dress from the 1950s or so. Gorgeous lace bodice panels both front and back with chenille soutache, and a full bubble skirt. Long sleeves with more of the soutache at he cuffs. The skirt is split in the front, so it was probably intended to go over another layer. Has metal zipper in the back. No label. Probably a medium. Please see condition below.
Excellent to great vintage condition. The only real issues here are the sleeves, the silk has shattered in the general vicinity of the elbows. A clever seamstress could probably rework or remove these. Otherwise, some of the soutache is loose and some minor flaws to the mesh bits, and I did find one inch long tear, hidden in the volume of the skirt. Priced accordingly.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip
Armpit to armpit across bust: 42" this is a dolman sleeve so there is some flexibility here
Natural Waist: 32"
Drop Waist: 36"
Shoulder to bottom hem: approx. 40"

I do my utmost best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected, and there are occasionally small things I won't deem worthy of note.
