Show stopping black full skirt from the 50s. Feels like a barkcloth or similar embroidered with silver threads in a vaguely tribal or southwestern pattern. Pleated all the way round the waistband. Buttons at the waist and a metal zipper. Has a few extra inches if you want to move the buttons a bit. No label. Medium size, I'd say.
Excellent to great vintage condition. This is an exquisite skirt but there are a few things I want you to know about. One is that there was a tear about 3 inces or so . I've stitched that and its at least straight, but if you are a better seamstress you may be able to make it better. Also, the button was missing so I replaced it, and there is some...pulling for lack of a better word, to the silver threads near the button. You can see all this in the photos. Priced accordingly and as is.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist to bottom hem: 32"
Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my utmost best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected, and there are occasionally small things I won't deem worthy of note. Please feel free to send me a missive with any questions. I'm truly happy to help in any way possible and I'm always up for a chat.
