Vintage 1950s Black Painted Metal Horse Figurine with Red Saddle

Wonderful vintage metal horse figurine circa the 1950s. Appears to be painted in black with a whitish mane and tail and red saddle. Marked underneath with Japan. Looks like there may have been reins at one point. Stands about 3" tall and about 3.5" long.
Excellent to great vintage condition. Lots of wear to the paint. The biggest issue though is that it doesn't really want to stand easily on its own, looks like a flaw from the manufacture of it. A little support under a back hoof seems to work or stand it against something.
