Lovely ice blue party dress from the 1950s. Scooped neckline, slight bullet shape to the bodice. 3/4 length sleeves. Full circle skirt. Mostly unlined but the waist is reinforced with muslin. There is a metal zipper down the back. No label. I'd say a smallish to medium sized. That lovely princess waist seam. This is such a pretty dress. Feels to me like a rayon or acetate satin.
Excellent vintage condition. The only thing worth noting is a grey smudge in the folds of the skirt. I've shown a photo of this. Also there are two pinholes in one armpit that look like maybe a drycleaner tag was there or something of that nature. They may steam out or go away as its worn.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, and waist
Armpit to armpit across bust: 37"
Natural Waist: 27"
Shoulder to natural waist: 15.5"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 40"
