Vintage 1950s Teena Paige Black Cotton Velvet Wiggle Dress

This is a stunning dress from the 1950s in black cotton velvet with a line of darling cotton crochet ivory trim round the neckline. Metal zipper up the back. Sight bullet shape to the bust. Scooped neckline in front and back. Small slits at either side of the hemline. I'd say small size. Label says: Teena Paige.

Excellent vintage condition. The nap of the velvet is a little flat under one armpit, but that's it.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip
Armpit to armpit across bust: 38" Note this is a dolman sleeve so there is some play here.
Waist: 26"
Hips: 40"
Shoulder to waist: 14.5"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 44"
