Vintage 1950s Wide Brimmed Red Straw Hat

Glorious wide brimmed red straw "coolie" style hat circa 1950s. Darling velvet trim which is echoed on the underside as well. Grosgrain ribbon round the inside. Label reads The Marston Company, San Diego ( which was a high end department store till the 1960s).  Measures 17" in diameter. Inside measures 21" all round.

Excellent vintage condition. The only real flaw if you consider it one is the black elastic chin strap is broken. Easy to replace or discard. Otherwise there is maybe the tiniest bit of sunfade to the color because it looks a hair brighter on the underside, but if so, it does not take away from this whatsoever.
