Vintage 1960s 1970s Does 1920s Dress With Embroidered Flowers

Absolutely charming sundress from about the 1960s done too look like a 1920s day dress or chemise. Strikes me as very similar  to some 20s French nightgowns I've seen but done in a fabric thats more suitable to day wear.  Gorgeous embroidery details round the bodice and over the straps, which I believe was hand done. Looks and feels like thicker weight cotton muslin, like the muslin old laundry bags were made of, and in fact this may be made from some of those.  Label reads: none. Metal zipper up the back. Add a straw hat and sandals and you're good to go!

Excellent vintage condition. Just a few little smudges in the skirt which are mostly hidden away in the volume of this. I've shown the worst, the others are very, very faint.
