Vintage 1960s Hanson 60 Lbs. Scale

Wonderful vintage measuring scale circa the 1940s by Hanson of Northbrook IL. The company was established in the late 1800s and whole these scales are difficult to date due to their ubiquitous design, I'm going with 1940s based on others I've seen. Its a galvanized metal color. The face is white with black letters. The measuring plate comes out if you need to. It stands just over 10" tall and the base is about 6.5" square. And it is rather heavy at over 6 pounds.

Excellent vintage condition. Typical signs of age and life like small dings and marks and some rust on the metal bits that only add to its vintage charm. The hand seems to be stuck at just over 0 so bear that in mind if you want to use it. Perhaps it could be adjusted?
