Wonderful dark green and lighter green wool tweed Pendleton suit from the 1960s. Jacket is a boxy Jackie O style with 3/4 sleeves and matching fabric covered buttons. The skirt is straight and has a zipper with hook and eye at the top. Both jacket and skirt are fully lined in dark gold acetate. This is a really extraordinary quality suit. Label reads: Warranted to be a Pendleton, Pendleton Woolen Mills, 100% Virgin Wool, Portland Oregon, and theres a number 16 to the side, which I believe is a size but do check measurements as vintage is not the same as modern sizing.
Excellent vintage condition. There are a couple moth holes on both sleeves, see photos for examples . The skirt appears to be just about perfect. Priced accordingly
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hips.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 43"
Shoulder to waist: 20"
Waist to bottom hem: 23"
