Fabulous pink tweed wool dress from the 60s. Its really a dress with a matching top, so two pieces but it just looks like dress or skirt with a top. Underdress has a sleeveless, fitted bodice and A-line skirt. Top is short sleeved wiith that classic Jackie O shape and two darling bows at both hips. Metal zipper in back of both pieces. Label reads: Martha Clyde, New York and there is a Union Made label as well. Top and underdress are both fully lined in pink acetate. How cute as a set but would be darling as separates too. I could see the top over slim pants and the dress with a cute cardigan over it. So many outfit options with this!
Excellent vintage condition. The only thing worth noting is a thin area of the fabric on the top. Not really a hole just a thinning of the fabric. Ive shown a photo of this. The acetate bodice on the underdress has some pulling at the vertical seams, but of course you can't see this when the top is over it, or anything else you choose to wear it with.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at Bust, waist and hip.
Shoulder to bottom hem: 18"
Armpit to armpit across bust: 38"
Shoulder to waist: approx 16"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 39"
