Vintage 1960s Yellow Bikini From Sears

I love this charming yellow bikini swimsuit from Sears, from the 1960s. Inner bullet bra support with striking black trim. The bottoms have loops for a belt though the belt is no longer with us alas. Feels like a cotton blend with something stretchy, and the crotch is lined with nylon. Label reads: Sears and gives the size as a 34 but do check the measurements as vintage sizing is not the same as modern.

Excellent, vintage condition. The top is nearly mint with just a few teeny smudges inside the cup lining. The bottoms show a bit more age. There are some minor smudges and the lining has some holes. The most notable though is some areas along the seam in back that have pulled. Could perhaps be repaired by resewing the seam or maybe lined with more nylon.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust waist and hip.
There is some give to this material so room to play here.
Bust from armpit to armpit: 37" to 40"
Under the Bust: 34" to 35"
Depth of the cup is just about 3"\

Bottoms:
Waist: 28" to 34"
Hip: 34" to 41"
Front Waist to seam of crotch: 12"
