Vintage 1970s 1980s Weathervane Plaid Wool Winter Skirt

Lovely plaid skirt from Weathervane, circa 1970s or maybe 80s. Pockets at either hip. Feels like wool to me but may be a blend or something like acrylic.  Fully lined in red acetate. Buttons at the side.  Label reads: Weathervane, Made in the USA, Size 12 ( do check measurements below though as vintage sizing is different than modern. 

 vintage condition. I haven't found any issues at all.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist: 29" with room to shift the buttons a bit should you wish
Hips:  44"
Waist to bottom hem: 27"
